Intercity Legends, Zomato’s new project to offer you Food from different cities, has officially begun rolling out. This programme function will enable you to order some of the most popular dishes from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Kolkata, Jaipur, and even Delhi. Herein are the specifics.
Zomato Facilitates the Acquisition of Food from Other Cities
The Zomato app’s Intercity Legends section will allow you to order meals from distant cities delivered by air the next day. The Food will be packaged in reusable and tamper-resistant containers for safe delivery.
Once delivered, the meal can be reheated or air-fried (depending on the type of Food purchased), allowing you to enjoy the cuisine of various cities.
In a blog post, Zomato guarantees the quality of the Food by stating, “Food is freshly made by the restaurant and put in reusable and tamper-proof containers to ensure its safety during air transit. The Food is preserved by cutting-edge mobile refrigeration technology without the need for freezing or preservatives.”
It is also disclosed that all sorts of foods intended for interstate transport have undergone laboratory testing to verify that their “aroma, texture, and flavour remain good quality.”
Zomato Intercity Legends is being tested in Gurugram and parts of South Delhi. The component is now up on the app, but I cannot use it because I reside in a different region of Delhi-NCR. There is a “Coming Soon” emblem so that we can anticipate its expansion.
